The BWH Women’s Health Leadership Forum (WHLF) recently honored a group of outstanding women leaders and physicians who have advocated for the advancement of women at BWH.
Gary Gottlieb, MD, MBA, president, and Paula Johnson, MD, executive director, Connors Center and chief of Women’s Health, paid tribute to two outgoing trustees, Jackie O’Neill and Beth Martignetti, who were recognized their contributions to BWH and to women’s health.
Martignetti, a former BWH nurse and former Friends of BWH president, has championed the largest capital campaign in BWH history. As a founder and co-chair of the WHLF, O’Neill has challenged BWH to build an internationally recognized women’s health program that includes integrated care, policy and research initiatives.
